I've had a raging passion for snowy winter mountain life since i was a wee child. I've spent every winter since Let's Be Leonard stopped touring on the slopes and spreading the stoke. This record is my first go at bottling that all up in a sonic space.

Making this record was all I did for the first two months after I moved from New York to Carbondale, CO -just outside of Aspen. I'd begin most of the recordings by figuring out the drum parts. I'd then lay down some scratch guitar and vocals before adding synths and piano parts. Many listens and tweaks later found the recordings as you're hearing them. Personally, I'm stoked with the results. The record captures some of the highest energy and nicest vibes I've been able to share since my days of collaborating with my Leonard pals. It's been nice to be back in that sort of musical space :)
