This is the first studio album released by Karl Bertrand under his own name. Written and recorded within the confines of 2020's quarantine, the record displays an introspective time period and a vulnerable man. Furthermore and fittingly, the album exhibits a variety of traps one might fall into while being in or searching for love.

The bandcamp version of this album is, regrettably, without the twelfth track, which can be heard on other streaming services. This is due to rights issues, as the song is a cover; Jackson Browne's "These Days".
